There are many gems and take aways in this book. Originally part of the American Guide Series, this book was written both to chronicle the physical and cultural landscape of the Mount Rushmore State and to employ out-of-work writers. He's still in love with his wife, and the friends he has are the dependable kind that come through when the going gets tough. I was somewhat disappointed because of that too, but nevertheless, I have come to enjoy having a picture on my desk every day. This is a short gay romance M M novel with 8000 words and a 30-minute read.
